Recently, an announcement was made as to the extension of the Tech Pilot till June 2021.
The Tech Pilot provides prioritized processing for Canada immigration candidates in the 29 tech occupations in demand in BC.
The BC PNP’s Skills Immigration category is for skilled and semi-skilled workers that have their occupations in high demand in the province of British Columbia in Canada.
The EEBC, on the other hand, is aligned with the federal Express Entry system. In order to be eligible for the BC PNP’s EEBC category, a candidate must have a valid profile in the Express Entry system.
To receive an invitation through the Skills Immigration category, a candidate has to be registered with British Columbia’s Skills Immigration Registration System [SIRS].
For being considered for the EEBC category, on the other hand, the candidate must be registered both with the SIRS as well as the federal Express Entry System.
