More cases of Australia Visa Fraud are now coming out as grievances are piling up at the Kochi North Police station. This was after 4 individuals were arrested in association with a case of Visa scam. Police officers have said that 40 complaints have been received by them so far and they have registered the cases. Victims in the state having similar complaints have as well approached other Police stations.

They are trying for bail and are now in remand said the Police Officers. The accused have cheated overseas work aspirants of 10 crore rupees plus by offering Australian jobs. They used to run centres for placement service at Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Kaloor said the Police.
Several cases in relation with the Australia Visa Fraud have been booked said B Anas the SI at North station.
Australia is among the nations that are firm with overseas nations arriving to stay and who demand religious privileges. The accused were detained based on the investigation held by the North police. This was into the complaint filed by Abin Abraham a native of Palluruthy and Minjin John a resident of Pattimattom.
The accused had cheated these both of Rupees 13 lakh and 4 other individuals, as quoted by the Times of India. The overseas job aspirants informed the Police officers that they did not get the money back or the Visa. This was still months after the amount was paid to the accused.
