The applications and profiles of aspiring immigrants to Canada are managed by the Express Entry system. This includes the 3 major streams of economic immigration at the federal level. These are the Federal Skilled Trades Class, Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Worker Class.
Candidates are ranked in the order of their score in Comprehensive Ranking System. It awards points based on diverse factors of the applicants. These include proficiency in English or French, age, education, and work experience. The candidates with highest scores are offered an ITA - Invitation to Apply. This is through the regular invitation draws.
There are several options for Express Entry candidates to augment their CRS scores. This includes a Provincial Nomination that awards extra 600 CRS points.
