The province of Alberta in Canada conducted its latest draw on 21st June for the EE-aligned Provincial Nomination Stream. 262 invitations (Notifications of Interest) were issued in this draw to EE candidates who had CRS scores as low as 300.
One of the major advantages of the Alberta Express Entry Stream is that it provides low-scoring EE candidates with an opportunity to apply for Canadian PR.
Candidates who manage to obtain a provincial nomination get 600 points added to their CRS Score in the EE pool. This effectively guarantees an invitation in the subsequent draw from the EE pool.
The cut-off score of 300 in the 21st June draw is much lower than any Express Entry draws conducted this year. The lowest cut-off that the Express Entry Program saw in 2019 was 332 in the 15th May draw exclusively for the FSTC. The lowest cut-off score in the all-program draws in the EE program has been 438 in 2019.
To be eligible under the Alberta EE Stream a candidate must have work experience in an occupation that supports the economic development of Alberta. However, the Govt. of Alberta has not released any list of occupations that are eligible, as per CIC News.
You do not need a job offer or any previous work experience in Alberta to be eligible for the EE Stream.

With the 21st June draw, the number of invitations issued by Alberta in 2019 has reached 3,816.
