AINP increases Canada PR allocation for 2019

Alberta province has announced that its Canada PR allocation for 2019 has been increased to 6,000 nominations. This is through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. Its allocation through AINP in 2018 was 5,600 nominations.

So far in 2019, AINP has offered 1, 783 nominations till 8 May. Roughly 2,100 applications are under eligibility assessment. Additionally, latest Express Entry data for Alberta reveals that 3,000 plus invitations have been offered under this stream. This is through the 14 draws that have been held so far in 2019. Candidates with even scores as less as 300 in CRS have received the ITAs for Canada PR, as quoted by the CIC News.

The AINP nominates individuals for Canada PR for permanent residence in the Alberta province. Applicants must possess abilities and skills to fill job vacancies in the province. They must also be able to provide for their families. The program is administered jointly by the Federal government and the Alberta government.

An applicant who receives a nomination through AINP can apply for Canada PR Visa. This is including their common-law-partner or spouse and dependent kids. Their applications are managed by the IRCC - Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. The final decisions on these applications are made by the Federal Government of Canada.

  • Medical
