Australia is bringing back the cap on work hours for international students. As per the new rule, the work hours will be increased to 48 hours per fortnight, 40 hours earlier. The change in the work hours will come into effect from July 1.
The increased working hours are being introduced so that international students studying in Australia can support themselves financially while completing their education.
The change in work hours will come into force along with a two-year work visa extension. The extension will also go into effect from July 1.
