I grew up eating the food made by my grandfather and father. It’s not like my mother or grandmother didn’t cook good food, but my father and grandfather created the magic. Every day they used to cook at least one preparation, which was my favorite. Since then, I realized that men have to cook good food, and that’s how my passion for cooking started.
While I was appearing for my school final exams, my cousin got a chance to study engineering in Canada with a good scholarship. We both used to be very close and used to share our day-to-day lives. He was the one who told me that there is a huge vacancy for good Chefs in Canada. And I decided to go to Canada after completing all my studies and getting good work experience.
I completed my primary education and appeared for various entrance tests to get admission into a good Hotel Management college.
To my biggest surprise, I got into one of India's best Hotel Management colleges and completed the course with flying colors. I got a job as a Chef with a big hotel in India and started putting all my efforts into it to gain good work experience.

After working for two years, it was time to apply for a work visa in Canada, and that's when I came across Y-Axis.
In 2015, the IRCC introduced an Express Entry System to fill labor shortages in the country.
And Y-Axis assisted me in different ways:
After we got a job, the Invitation to Apply came our way! It was a dream for me, my parents, and my grandparents. I realized that day that I had achieved something big, and without the support of all my family members, none of it would have been a reality.
Y-Axis has been there with me on my journey as a Chef from India to Canada. They had a wide range of services to make the journey comfortable. It is due to them that I applied for my work visa in Canada successfully.
The entire migration process took around six months to complete, and I took the next flight after receiving the confirmation.
I want to explore the country's beauty and travel around, as this is all I have ever wanted! Currently, I am working with one of the biggest restaurant chains in Canada and living in the beautiful Ontario city. I have plans to establish a hotel tech business with my cousin, but I am not in a hurry as I want to take everything in slowly.
