Germany Opportunity Card Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Germany Opportunity Card, you must meet fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

 

  • You must have a university degree or at least two years of professional training
  • You must have enough financial resources to support your stay in Germany
  • You must possess an A1 level of proficiency in English or a B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

 

You would be eligible to apply for the Germany Opportunity card if you score at least 6 points under the Germany Immigration Points calculator. The factors that determine the eligibility points are mentioned below:

 

  • Educational Qualifications: Maximum 4 points
  • Professional Experience: Maximum 3 points
  • Language Proficiency: Maximum 4 points
