What are the admission requirements for studying in the US?

The following are the requirements to apply to a renowned university in the USA:

Level of Study Admission Requirements for U.S. Universities
Bachelor’s Degree Minimum GPA: 2.5 – 3.6
Minimum TOEFL: 61 – 100
A high school diploma
Undergraduate Pathway Programs Minimum GPA: 2.0 – 3.0
Minimum TOEFL: 55 – 79
A high school diploma
Master’s Degree Minimum GPA: 2.5 – 3.5
Minimum TOEFL: 78 – 100
A bachelor's degree
Graduate Pathway Programs Minimum GPA: 2.5 – 3.4
Minimum TOEFL: 55 – 99
A bachelor's degree

 

What are the eligibility requirements for applying for a USA Student Visa?

The following are the eligibility requirements to apply for a USA Student visa:

  • Essay or research proposal
  • A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity
  • Evidence of enough money
  • Form I-20 sent by the respective US university
  • Essay or research proposal
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Copy of academic transcripts, certificates, and mark sheets
  • Confirmation of receipt of visa fee payment
  • Receipt of fee for SEVIS
  • An original copy of the interview appointment
  • Submit the original academic transcripts, certificates, and mark sheets
  • A copy of the DS-160 form
  • Statement of purpose
  • Evidence of sufficient funds
  • English language skill test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, GMAT, GRE, ITEP)

What are the steps to apply for a USA Student Visa?

The following are the steps to apply for a USA Student visa:

Step 1: After receiving the Form I-20 from the college, start with the visa process

Step 2: Pay the SEVIS fees and complete the DS-160 online application form

Step 3: Attend the visa interview along with the DS-160 form

Step 4: Submit the biometrics 

Step 5: Wait for your visa approval

Step 6: Fly to the USA
