A fresh web portal will assist aspiring Quebec immigrants with regards to the recognition of their overseas credentials. This is with regards to employment in the Quebec province in Canada. The new portal is a collaborative effort between diverse Ministries of the Quebec Government. This includes the Immigration Ministry, Work, Employment and Social Solidarity Ministry, and Education and Higher Learning Ministry.
All the details on the current Beta version of the portal are in French.
The portal has been developed with funds from the MIDI the Immigration Ministry of Quebec. It permits the aspiring Quebec immigrants to assess if their occupation is regulated. It then informs them regarding the requirements for assessment of their work experience, training, and education. Assistance is also offered with respect to recognition of the same.
The new portal also has the feature of Counselors that are available on phone or online. They assist visitors with regards to their search for diverse details. Users inclined to get in touch with a Counselor can do so by communication in English.
The portal harnesses the expertise of the group formerly known as the Montreal Qualification. This provided similar services for several years in the Montreal area. The funding from MIDI has now permitted the group to expand and offer services across Quebec.
The new portal has also released an information update. It elaborates that the aim of the portal is to be able to offer information on 500 occupations and trades in English and French, as quoted by the CIC News.
