India has a bond with the world at many avenues for business and fraternity. Now the country has opened up a new vantage for relationship building. India over the years has become one of the most desired destinations for expats in the world to work. India is delivering many opportunities to the foreigners and is chosen as a work destination at present, says a study by Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).
The study informed that in the last few years, a rising number of expats at work places have been witnessed by Indian executives. The study said, “Expats are eager to tap into the opportunities it has to offer, witness its rich transformation and sample a way of life often very different from their native countries,” as reported by M Saraswathy for Business Standard.
Peter Felix, President, AESC informed that one of the reasons for the rise in the number of expats is the skill shortage in organizations at the senior level which has created a demand for expats in India.
Felix claims that the Expats of the country also serves as a factor attracting expats to India which allows them to add this opportunity to their international expertise. He further added that information technology and manufacturing are the sectors that would attract more number of expats than the others. There are also chances to see expats in consumer goods and retail in India.
