You must choose the right one based on your profile. Given below are various immigration pathways to Canada that offer PR and how to improve your chances of obtaining a Canada PR:
 

Express Entry Program

This is the primary route for skilled workers to live and work in Canada. It uses the CRS system to score candidates based on factors like age, education, work experience, and proficiency in English or French.   • You must ensure that you apply before the age of 35 to increase the points.
  • You must score CLB 9 or higher on the language proficiency test. Retake tests if required.
  • You can obtain an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) to validate your degree.
  • You must have at least 3 years of skilled worker experience. It is a major plus if you have working experience in Canada.
  • If your partner or spouse accompanies you, improve your spouse’s language and educational skills to improve your score.
  • You must obtain an LMIA-approved employment contract from a recognized employer in Canada.

In the Provincial Nominee Program, provinces nominate skilled professionals based on the shortages in occupation. Each province has streams for skilled workers, students, or entrepreneurs. Below are steps to improve your chances to obtain Canada PR:
 

  • You must target provinces with high demand for your occupation. Check PNP occupation lists regularly
  • You can apply for PNP-linked Express Entry programs, which will get you 600 points in the points-based system, potentially guaranteeing  Canada PR.
  • In the case of non-linked PNP programs, you must try obtaining a nomination from any participating provinces where your occupation is in demand.
