Adzuna has analyzed over 1 million job ads and revealed the UK STEM Degrees that lead to highest pay upon graduation. These are the Maths, Engineering, Technology, and Science degrees. The research was conducted in the month of August 2018. It considers the average salaries of job advertisings that seek specific STEM degree applicants.

The list of Highest Paying UK STEM Degrees is topped by Aeronautical engineers with an average salary of £51,448. This was for those who possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in the subject. The graduates with Civil Engineering degree were in the second position with an average pay of £ 47,503. Computer Science graduates were in the third position with an average pay of £ 47,197, as quoted by the Study International.
Teaching Assistant and Lab Technician roles made up the majority of the job ads that sought people with the Chemical Engineering degrees. It explains their surprisingly low salaries.
Job seekers with Chemical and Aeronautical Engineering degrees witnessed the maximum salary potential. However, they are very distant when it comes to the most demanded jobs. These are also of a very niche in nature. It is for this reason that the UK mentions just 220 job ads for these subjects with the requirement to apply for the role.
