Top 10 French Universities for Graduate Employability

The Global University Ranking for 2018 has revealed the top French Universities that produce the most employable graduates. A total of 17 French Universities find a place in this ranking. The list has been exclusively published by Times Higher Education. It has been designed by Emerging HR consultancy.

 

The ranking reveals the French Universities that recruiters at leading firms consider to be best for equipping the students for the workplace. The top 3 places have been secured by the following Universities in France:

1. HEC Paris

Set up in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HEC Paris is an international business school. Prominent alumni of the University include the Chairman of newspaper Le Monde Louis Dreyfus. Others include Chairman of Morgan Stanley France René Proglio and CEO of L’Oréal Jean-Paul Agon.

 

2. École Polytechnique

Established in 1794 École Polytechnique served as a military academy during the rule of Napoleon I. The University is still supervised by the Ministry of Defense in France though it is no more a military academy.

 

Ecole focuses on teaching in Engineering and Science. Students are also offered courses in Languages, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Sports.

 

3. École Normale Supérieure

It is one of the most prestigious and selective French grandes écoles. École Normale Supérieure is a constituent institution of Université PSL.

 

The École Normale Supérieure was originally intended to train a new group of Professors, as quoted by the Times Higher Education. However, it has evolved into an institution for students to pursue careers in academia and government.

 

The chief aim of ENS is to train Public Administrators, Researchers, and Professors. Its alumni include 12

Fields Medalists and 13 Nobel Laureates.
