The unemployment rate in France decreased to 9%. This is a better rate of unemployment for France in the last 10 years. 84% of the job vacancies for Machine Operators were unfilled owing to the skill shortages in the France Job Market. The figures for Carpenters were 80%, Butchers was 65%, and for Computer Engineers it was 63%, as quoted by the Economist.
