World Education Services [WES] Canada updates address

As per a recent update, World Education Services [WES] Canada have changed their mailing address. Applications continue to be accepted and documents processed by WES even in the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

WES is a non-profit social organization that is dedicated to helping international students, refugees and immigrants achieve their career and educational goals in the US and Canada.

According to WES CEO and Executive Director Esther Benjamin, “World Education Services is a remarkable organization: a social enterprise with a 45-year history and track record of giving millions of international students, immigrants, and refugees the tools to achieve educational and professional success, and of developing programs and networks that break down the barriers that too often prevent newcomers from contributing their hard-earned skills, talents, and knowledge to their new communities.”

Types of WES evaluation for Canada
Evaluation	Purpose
WES Standard Application	For higher or continuing education, employment and licensure, select the WES Standard Application.
ECA Application for IRCC	For Canada immigration purposes, to select the Educational Credential Assessment [ECA] for Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada [IRCC].
ECA Application for Agri-Food Pilot	For immigration purposes, select the Educational Credential Assessment [ECA] for the Agri-Food Immigration Pilot.

Note. – Occupational and trade qualifications are not evaluated by WES.

Basic step-wise process for a WES evaluation

• Submission of application.
• Receiving a WES reference number.
• Finding out the documents required by WES.
• Sending in the documents to the mailing address.
• Verification of credentials by WES.
• Creation of ECA Report by WES.
• Delivery of Report to recipients.

The WES reference number must be included – and clearly mentioned on the envelope – at the time of the submission of the documents.

As per WES, “WES is not responsible for documents that arrive without a reference number”.
