*Willing to work in the US? Y-Axis is here to provide complete assistance!
On September 18, 2024, the USCIS reached the cap count for H-2B visas for the first half of fiscal year (FY) 2025. The USCIS has already received the final petitions for temporary non-agricultural workers willing to start their employment before April 1, 2025. However, the USCIS is still accepting petitions from certain categories of workers.
The H-2B visas are designed to recruit temporary foreign workers in non-agricultural job roles. The current cap count set by the congress is 66,000 per fiscal year, among which 33,000 must begin their employment in the first half and the other 33,000 in the second half.
