The global economic slowdown induced by the COVID-19 pandemic led businesses the world over to pivot, innovate, and place more reliance than ever before on tech talent workers for stepping up to meet the challenging times.

This kept the tech labour market both highly competitive as well as supply constrained in 2020 as hiring expanded beyond the major tech hubs.

The Report comes to the finding that “technology’s importance during the COVID-19 pandemic will endure and act as an accelerator of economic transformation”.
