A new report by the United Nations on human development has released a list of countries which have excellent qualities of life.

Norway takes the top spot followed by Switzerland and Ireland.

The United Nations report reviewed around 189 countries around the world. The rankings are based on the following factors:

  • Income
  • Average education
  • Life expectancy
  • Human Development Index value (HDI)

The report cited the excellent Human Development Index of Ireland. The HDI of Ireland was ranked at 0.942, and the life expectancy was around 82 years.

Also, citizens of Ireland spend an average of 12 years in education which makes it one of the most educated nations in the world. The average national capital income of Ireland is estimated to be more than 55,000 Euros per capita.

  3. Ireland

  6. Australia
  7. Iceland
  8. Sweden

  10. Netherlands
