Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry stated that they would welcome any Indian workers who meet recruitment conditions and industry demands, regardless of ethnicity. Notably, Taiwan’s civil society has diverse perspectives and allows a broad range of voices to be heard.

The Ministry confirmed that qualified workers would be treated equally and fairly, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on labour force cooperation between Taiwan and India on February 16 this year.
This agreement aims to strengthen the exchange of people between the two nations and address labour shortages in Taiwan. The Foreign Ministry stated that the MOU is a reciprocal arrangement that will benefit both sides. Furthermore, The Taiwan government plans to recruit more Indian workers and establish a comprehensive framework for related endeavors.
