Saskatchewan issues 858 invitations in the latest draw

The latest invitation of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program was held on 31st October 2019. 858 invitations were issued under the Express Entry and Occupations In-demand sub-categories.

231 invitations were issued under the Occupations In-demand sub-category. The lowest-scoring candidate had a score of 68 points.

The SINP Occupations In-demand sub-category is for skilled foreign workers who:

  • Are highly skilled in an occupation which is in-demand in Saskatchewan
  • Meet other requirements of the sub-category

627 invitations were issued under the Express Entry sub-category. The lowest-scoring candidate in this stream also had a score of 68 points.

The SINP Express Entry stream is for skilled foreign workers who:

  • Intend to live and work in Saskatchewan
  • Have an EOI in the IRCC’s Express Entry Pool
  • Meet other criteria of the Express Entry sub-category

You do not need to have an offer of employment from Saskatchewan to apply under the Express Entry or the Occupations In-demand sub-categories.

  • 1224- Property Administrators
  • 1225- Purchasing agents and officers
  • 1226- Conference and Event planners
  • 1241- Administrative assistants
  • 1242- Legal administrative assistants
  • 1252- Health information management occupations
  • 1253- Records management technician
  • 1254- Statistical officers and related research support occupations
  • 1313- Insurance underwriters
  • 2171-Information system analysts and consultants
  • 2172- Database analysts and data administrators
  • 2222- Agricultural and fish products inspectors
  • 2234- Construction estimators
  • 2242- Electronic service technicians (household and business equipment)
  • 2251- Architectural technologists and technicians
  • 2253- Drafting technologists and technicians
  • 2263- Inspectors in public health and environmental health and occupational health and safety

  • 6316- Other service supervisors
  • 6331- Butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers- retail and wholesale
  • 6342- Tailors, dressmakers, furriers and milliners
  • 7245- Telecommunications line and cable workers
  • 7246- Telecommunications installation and repair workers
