Saskatchewan - Announced new list of draw dates of 2022

Abstract: Saskatchewan announces the draw dates for 2022 for the Saskatchewan Entrepreneur category.

• The Canadian province of Saskatchewan announced draw dates for 2022.
• The dates for the draws are for the immigration Entrepreneur category.

  On March 24, 2022, Saskatchewan draw dates were announced for SINP or Saskatchewan immigrant Nominee Program. The dates are aimed at people in the pool of Immigration Entrepreneur. The entrepreneur category of Saskatchewan aims for applicants with at least a net worth of 500,000 CAD. It requires a minimum investment of 200,000 or 300,000 CAD, considering where the business is located.

Draw Dates  

The SINP draws will be conducted on the following dates:

• May 5, 2022
• July 7, 2022
• September 1, 2022
• November 3, 2022

  SINP Draws of 2022   The first draw was held on January 6, 2022. A total of 107 applicants were issued ITAs or Invitation to Apply for Canada PR (Permanent Residency).

Requirements of Immigration Entrepreneur Stream  

Saskatchewan gives importance to three factors for selection with candidates who have the same score in the stream of Immigration Entrepreneur. The three factors are:

• Proficiency in English or French
• A plan for crucial economic sectors
• Complete the duration of an exploratory visit

• Submission of Expression of interest
• If selected, Invitation to Apply is issued
• Nomination

  Requirements of Immigration Entrepreneur   The eligibility requirements of the immigration entrepreneur are given as follows:

• The legally acquired net worth should be at least $500,000
• At least 3 years of management or entrepreneurial experience
• Investment of a minimum of $300,000 in Regina or Saskatoon, or $200,000 for other regions of Saskatchewan.

Components of the Application  

The applications for the stream should include:

• A Business Establishment Plan stating the financial figures in the expression of interest. The applicant should own at least 1/3rd of the company in Saskatchewan if the investment is $1 million or more.
• Active in the day-to-day function of the business.
• Generating two or more jobs for citizens or PRs of Canada if the business is situated in Saskatoon or Regina.
