Portugal welcomes back Indian visitors

Abstract:

Portugal has started to open travel for Indians. The visitors reaching Portugal from India must need to submit the negative RT-PCR test or a similar or equivalent test like the NAAT test results. This test report has to be submitted 72 hours before the boarding. The visitors can even submit Laboratorial Rapid Antigen Test results 24 hours before the boarding. This is mandatory for Indians to visit Portugal. There is no requirement for quarantine is needed.

The world is opening up and applying a few relaxations for some COVID  protocols. In the same way, the Portugal government has widened its doors for Indian tourists. The Portugal Government mandated the submission of a few documents before the visit.

1. A Negative RT-PCR report should be submitted 72 hours before boarding (or) a laboratory rapid antigen test negative report must be submitted 24 hours before the boarding. Once this is submitted, there is no quarantine required.
2. Children under 12 do not need any tests or certificates for submission. Not even quarantine.
