It is a two-step process for overseas students to get accepted as global students in Canada. The first step is the letter of acceptance from an institution in Canada. Overseas students in Canada need to keep in mind the validity of their study permits if they intend to transition study programs or institutions. Study permits are generally valid for the duration of the program for which it was offered.
