Increased numbers of overseas students are expressing their inclination to Study in Dubai after they learn that they are eligible to be employed in part-time jobs as informed by the diverse international campuses in Dubai.
These remarks have been given on the occasion of the 29th segment of the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition being held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai.
It had been announced in October 2017 that overseas students studying in diverse campuses in Dubai can be legally employed in several firms that are present in the nine free zone clusters in Dubai.
It was informed by the diverse universities that attended the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition to the Gulf News that more number of overseas students have expressed interest in enrolling into the universities in Dubai owing to the new regulation.
Director of Middlesex University Dubai Dr. Cedwyn Fernandes has said that this trend is quite crucial to the growth of the educator sector in the nation as it is determined by the overseas students’ arriving in Dubai.
Elaborating on the scenario, he added that the initiative to offer work permits to the overseas students has been incredibly influencing the international students to choose Dubai. This being a new policy, the impact that it creates on strength of students will be learned after a period of six months.
However, the emerging trends are very positive and encouraging, added Dr. Cedwyn. This will definitely assist to increase the number of overseas students choosing Dubai for their international studies. More than 50 students from the Middlesex University Dubai will be availing the work permits informed the Director of Middlesex University.
