Travelers from Oman have placed the nation amongst the leading 15 nations receiving Indian E-Tourist Visas. This has been revealed by the Tourism Ministry of India. The statistics from the department reveal that Oman received 1.55% of all Indian E-Tourist Visas for the October month. This places the nation among chief nations such as Canada, Germany, and the UK.
Oman was as well among the top 15 nations receiving Indian E-Tourist Visas in the past couple of months. This was in the months of September, August, and July, as quoted by the Times of Oman.
India offered 223,124 E-Tourist Visas in 2018 October. This was a 26.1% boost from 2017.

The latest figures are in conformity with the trend that has witnessed Oman emerging as a top resource market for tourism to India. 28, 092 Omanis obtained the Indian E-Tourist Visas from January to June 2018. This accounted for 2.5% of all overseas tourists arriving in India.
Moreover, travelers from Oman were amongst the leading 15 overseas traveler arrivals in July 2018. This accounted for 1.95% of the 806, 255 travelers who arrived in India in this period.
