The Atlantic province succeeded in doubling its PNP allocation in 2023. The immigration cap increased to 3050. Including the families the immigration goes to 6,700.
In the first two months of 2023, Newfoundland invited 1,585 new permanent residents. If the province continues in the same pace, the immigration cap would be 9,510 new immigrants at the end of 2023. In 2022, the Newfoundland welcomed 3,683.
