As per an official statement, “the Expression of Interest [EOI] for the International Entrepreneur category is proceeding without interruption.” The application window for the new invitation round for the category of International Entrepreneur is open from April 17 to April 24, 2020.The EOI for the International Graduate Entrepreneur category is open all round the year. The province of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada administers the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program [NL PNP]. The NL PNP is a way for Newfoundland and Labrador for nominating applicants to the Canadian federal government for permanent residency. Categories that the NL PNP can nominate applicants under are Express Entry – Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker, International Entrepreneur, International Graduate, and International Graduate Entrepreneur. Provincial nominees have to settle in the province. The International Entrepreneur category comes under the Business Immigration stream of the NLPNP. This category is for senior business managers or experienced business owners that wish to either start or acquire a business in NL. The business owner or manager that wishes to immigrate to NL under this category must also have the intention of providing “active and ongoing participation in the day-to-day management and direction of a business”.
