Manitoba holds largest PNP draw of 2020

In the latest Provincial Nominee Program [PNP] draw to be held by Canada’s Manitoba province on August 13, Manitoba has issued 253 invitations to immigration candidates. Those invited can now apply for a provincial nomination through the MPNP.

 This is the largest MPNP draw to be held in 2020 so far. With the present draw, Manitoba has held 17 draws in 2020.

The previous MPNP draw was held on July 30, 2020.

The invitations – also referred to as Letters of Advice to Apply [LAAs] – were issued to Canada immigration candidates under 3 MPNP pathways – International Education, Skilled Workers Overseas, and Skilled Workers in Manitoba.

This is the 96th MPNP draw to be held. A total of 3,086 candidates have been invited by Manitoba in 2020.

Note. – Of the 253 LAAs issued, 23 went to Express Entry candidates. A provincial nomination fetches 600 additional points that are added to their profile’s Comprehensive Ranking System [CRS] score while in the Express Entry pool. As per the MPNP, candidates that have “indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba have been selected in this draw”. Manitoba has issued a total of 3,086 LAAs in 2020 so far.
