Do you know the 2 Manitoba streams to obtain Canada PR?

Manitoba has 2 streams through which candidates can obtain Canada PR. These are the Overseas Skilled Workers and Manitoba Skilled Workers. Manitoba offered 354 LAAs to apply for Canada PR via Provincial Nomination via these 2 streams in the latest draw.

318 LAAs were offered to candidates who had a profile in the Manitoba Skilled Worker EOI - Expression of Interest pool. The score of the lowest ranked candidate in this category to receive the LAA was 500, as quoted by the CIC News.

36 LAAs were offered to candidates in the stream Overseas Skilled Workers. These were identified via the Initiative for Strategic Recruitment. The score of the lowest ranked candidate to receive LAA in this category was 617.

Candidates in both the Overseas Skilled Workers and Manitoba Skilled Workers streams can obtain Canada PR. They are assigned score depending on the answers provided by them. This is while completing their profile in Expression of Interest. It is a mandatory step for anyone inclined to immigrate to Manitoba. This is through these 2 streams or other streams.

The EOI pool candidates are then ranked based on their scores. A fixed number of highest ranked candidates are then offered Letters of Advice to Apply. This is through the periodic draws held in the pool.

The Manitoba Skilled Workers stream is open to qualified provisional overseas workers and overseas student graduates in the province. They must be currently working in Manitoba. The eligibility for this stream includes having a full-time permanent job offer from their employer in Manitoba. There are other requirements as well that must be fulfilled.
