Aspiring immigrants have 3 Canada PR routes through the AIPP - Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. These are for those immigrants who intend to settle forever in the 4 Atlantic Provinces. These are the Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, and New Brunswick.

Employers in Canada can hire immigrants through any one of the below 3 programs:

  • High-Skilled Atlantic Program
  • Intermediate-Skilled Atlantic Program
  • International Graduate Atlantic Program

The above 3 are Canada PR routes for aspiring immigrants. Each of them has individual requirements that will cover your:

  • Job in the Atlantic Province
  • Education, skills, and experience
  • Ability to communicate in French or English
  • Ability to support yourself as well as family in Canada
  • Intention to stay in the Atlantic Province

High-Skilled Atlantic Program

Overall, you must:

  • Have worked in a technical/skilled, professional, or management job for minimum 1 year
  • Possess minimum Canadian high school diploma or comparable education
  • Attempt a test in language to demonstrate ability in French or English
  • Demonstrate that you can support yourself as well as the family after arriving in Canada

Intermediate-Skilled Atlantic Program

Overall, you must:

  • Have worked in a job that needs job-specific training for minimum 1 year or high school education
  • Possess minimum Canadian high school diploma or comparable education
  • Attempt a test in language to demonstrate ability in French or English
  • Demonstrate that you can support yourself as well as the family after arriving to Canada

International Graduate Atlantic Program

Overall, you must:

  • Possess a Diploma, Degree or other credentials from an institution in Atlantic Province that is funded publicly
  • Have stayed in the Atlantic Province for minimum 16 months in the 2 years prior to obtaining your Diploma, Degree or other credentials
  • Attempt a test in language to demonstrate ability in French or English
  • Demonstrate that you can support yourself as well as the family after arriving in Canada, as quoted by the CIC News.
