Leading US firms such as Microsoft and Rubrik have offered hefty pay packages to students of IIT Madras in 2018. A student of IIIT Bangalore Aditya Paliwal has obtained a job with Google with 1.21 Crores annually. He is an integrated M. Tech student at International Institute of Information Technology-Bangalore. Paliwal will now be employed with Google at its New York Artificial Intelligence research wing.
IIT – Hyderabad student is also one among the high pay package recipients in 2018. It is being termed as the highest package for a student in the history of the institution. A fresh graduate of IIT-Hyderabad has been offered a job by Google with an annual salary of 1.2 Crores.
The students from newer IITs have gained the confidence of firms in 2018. They are also attracting bigger brands and higher salaries in comparison with the established IITs. The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Ropar, Bhubaneswar, and Mandi are enjoying the best season till date.
The leading firms recruiting at newer IITs in 2018 include Amazon, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Maruti Suzuki and Reliance Jio Infocomm. These also include Sapient, Deloitte, Publicis, and Mahindra & Mahindra.
