The renowned Canada Express Entry system has been lucrative in drawing scores of people. The best part of the exuberant system is the upcoming changes to the Comprehensive Ranking System which would come into effect post-June the 6th 2017.

Candidates applying for any of the provincial programs will be awarded additional points for two prime reasons. Firstly for exceptional French language skills and for those who have siblings living in Canada as a citizen or a permanent citizen.

The changes proposed by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to the CRS points are implemented to represent a prominent change that would contribute towards development, life and affluence of the Francophone community across Canada.

Additional points will be rewarded for applicants who have French speaking skills and more points will be given for French speakers who can prove individual English speaking proficiency.

For applicants who can prove French language ability will be given 15 additional points equal to French language benchmark 7 and English ability of CLB 4 should be proved. And for native French speakers, 30 additional points will be given and the English language proficiency should be 5 CLB.

Applicants who reach the 1200 benchmark generally qualify to receive an invitation to apply for the permanent residency. But these additional points will do the needful in helping applicants reach the benchmark points system.

To make it through the express entry pool 136 points will be awarded for language skills. And to be specific about siblings living as citizens or permanent residents is Canada should over the age of 18 and above. The siblings must share a mother or father, the relationship through blood or adoption is also considered to be awarded 15 additional points.

Moreover, the Express Entry has been a great benefit to attract high-skilled foreign workers and former international students who have secured degrees in Canada in the recent years. This program has benefitted the mentioned categories and has made permanent residency to them a feasible benefit. The prime reason for the increase in demand for high-skilled workers across Canada is skill and competence which helps to build businesses and a subsequent growth in the economy.

The four key programs under the economic immigration programs would adopt the key changes post 6th June 2017. It would make things less crucial if you take the language tests and have all the educational credentials attested. The very next step would be to check your eligibility through the express

entry program and results will prove with an invite letter to avail the permanent residency to Canada.
