Second Express Entry Healthcare draw

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has continued its streak of inviting Express Entry candidates, issuing 1,500 invitations to individuals eligible under the healthcare category. Candidates who received invitations had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 463, the lowest score seen in any Express Entry draw in 2023.

IRCC had previously announced the invitations of 1,500 healthcare workers this week. This follows the first-ever category-based draw on June 28, where 500 healthcare workers with a minimum CRS score of 476 were issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs).

Before the healthcare category draw, invitations were extended to 500 candidates in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) sector on July 5. A surprise all-program draw was held on July 4, inviting 700 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 511.
