Visitors and residents in Berlin will have free access to 60 museums in the city on the first Sunday of every month. The announcement came from Berlin's Culture Senator, Joe Chialo (CDU), who assured two years of funding for the program, providing both residents and visitors to enjoy cultural exploration.
This initiative was originally anticipated to begin in 2019 but faced problems due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Berlin is now set to resume the program allowing free access to museums.

Tickets and timeslots must be reserved online for venues like the Pergamon Museum, Gemäldegalerie, and Altes Museum. These spots fill up quickly, and they become available one week prior to each Museum Sunday.
For those unable to get reservations in advance, many other museums welcome visitors, providing flexibility and encouraging exploration. This feature allows individuals to choose the day and location of their cultural activities.
