In its latest Tech Pilot draw on May 26, [BC PNP] has issued 133 invitations to apply to qualified immigration candidates with job offers in any of the 29 key technology occupations that come under the BC PNP Tech Pilot.
The previously held Tech Pilot draw on March 12 invited 92 candidates. Unlike the previous draw, no occupations were excluded in the current draw.
Candidates were invited from the International Graduate and Skilled Worker pathways under the Express Entry BC [EEBC] and Skilled Immigration categories.
EEBC candidates are required to have their profiles under both the federal Express Entry System as well as BC’s Skills Immigration Registration System [SIRS].

It is through the Tech Pilot draws that the BC PNP seeks to address the labour market requirements in the province.
A Tech Pilot candidate is required to have a valid job offer that has a minimum 1-year duration. Additionally, a minimum of 120 days should be remaining in the job tenure of the candidate at the time of the submission of their profile to the BC PNP.
All those that have received an invitation in the May 26 draw by the BC PNP will now have 30 calendar days for applying to the BC PNP for being provincially nominated by the province for Canada PR in 2020.
