Manitoba PNP: 71 Express Entry Candidates Among the 438 Invited

Canada's Manitoba province has held another round of invitations, asking 400+ candidates to apply for a nomination under the provincial route to Canadian permanent residence. On December 2, 2021, Manitoba issued a total of 438 invitations to Canada immigration hopefuls that had expressed an interest in settling in Manitoba after getting their Canada PR visa. Manitoba is a part of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Manitoba PNP is officially known as the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Invitations by Manitoba are referred to as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA). The previous MPNP draw was held on November 18, 2021.

Here, by an Express Entry ID is implied having a valid profile in the Express Entry system that comes under the department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). As per Manitoba PNP, IRCC Express Entry candidates will only be eligible to receive a nomination if their Express Entry profile is valid at the time of the assessment of their application by the MPNP. A score, called the EOI score, is allotted to a profile following successful registration of an EOI profile with the MPNP.

10,213 LAAs issued by Manitoba in the 26 MPNP draws held so far in 2021. As per the annual nomination spaces allotment by IRCC, Manitoba can nominate 5,400 under base nominations and 875 through IRCC Express Entry.
