In a recent survey conducted by Preply, it has been revealed that more number of young professionals, aged 18 to 26 are considering the thought of living abroad, with a particular focus on European Union Countries. Notably, there are seven EU countries that are included in the list of top 20 destinations that these young professionals are considering for moving abroad.

Participants in the survey have given several reasons for their interest in moving abroad, in which, cost of living and political environment were given as primary factors influencing their decisions. Additionally, another reason was the availability of universal healthcare influencing their decision. The survey also revealed that these young professionals desire to move abroad was not influenced by digital nomad influencers, and only 28% of respondents acknowledged that their decision to relocate could have been influenced by these platforms.
Over one-third of the surveyed people told about their plans of living overseas permanently. 87% stated that their desire to live abroad is either growing or remaining constant, and another two-thirds of respondents expressed their intent to start a family in their chosen foreign locations.

Apart from the demographic of young professionals, people of all ages are increasingly migrating to Europe in order to find better job opportunities and living conditions. The use of English in European institutions has played a crucial role, ensuring that language is not a significant barrier for expatriates.
Work-life balance is highlighted as one of the factors, it is essential to understand that it is just one among many influencing individuals' decisions.
