100 New Scholarships for Indian students by College of London

Highlights of Indian students receiving scholarship 

• College of London has decided to support 100 Indian students with scholarships.
• The Indian students who have a good academic record are eligible for this scholarship.
• The 100 students will be able to pursue a master's degree at London University.
• Britain's Deputy High Commissioner to India, Christina Scott, said that UCL is recognising the value of India's brightest students.
• UCL also planned to inaugurate a summer school program in India.

Who can receive UCL Scholarship?

100 Indian students were given scholarships by the University College of London; students are allowed to complete full-time Master-degree studies at London College. Scholarships are given to Indian students with good academic records. For the academic year 2024-25, 33 scholarships were given to first-class-degree students, and a further 67 scholarships will be given to students in the following two years.

Dr Michael Spence, President of UCL, said that "scholarships are given to Indian students to give new opportunities to students and to strengthen our bond with India".

Christina Scott, Britain's Deputy High Commissioner to India, commented, "UCL recognizes the value of India's brightest students and gives them good opportunities". This will deepen the relationship between India and the UK.

Summer School programme - UCL

The University of London also disclosed the plans for a new summer school program at the state-of-the-art campus of the British School in New Delhi. This program is to make Indian students understand how it is to study at a world-leading UK University. The program will take place from June 10-14 next year.
