Minimum Score:

The individuals who scored 65 points on the Australia points grid are eligible to apply for Australia PR. This score is calculated based on various factors such as age language proficiency, work experience, and others.

Age:

A person who is below the age of the 45 is eligible to apply. A person can score a maximum of 30 points in this factor. The applicants between the ages 25 - 30 can score points of 30.  Here is the detailed points table.

 

Occupation:

When a skilled worker is applying for an Australian PR they must have an occupation that is mentioned in the Skilled Occupation List - SOL. There are three types of categories under the SOL, they are:

• Regional Occupations List (ROL)
• Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)
• Medium- and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL)

 

Skill Assessment Test:

This test is conducted by the assessing authorities of Australia, where the applicant’s skills are evaluated to check if they can meet the Australian standards.

 

Note: For the skill assessment the chosen occupation should be from the SOL. Each category has a separate assessing authority.

 

Language Proficiency Test:

Having a proficiency in English is a must for the applicants of Australia PR. The Australian authorities accept the following tests:

• IELTS
• PTE

 

Medical Care:

A medical insurance that is valid in Australia needs to be submitted. This private medical insurance need to be adequate enough for the claims and for certain visas having a medical insurance is mandatory.

 

Police Verification:

The applicant must obtain a no objection form or should not have any kind of criminal record.
