What is US H-1B Visa occupation list?

The US H-1B visa is work permit that is issued to the people who are looking to work under skilled or specialty occupations. The US H-1B Visa Occupation List has job roles from sectors such as IT and Engineering, Education, Healthcare, Accounting and finance, Media and Advertising, Legal, marketing and Sales and others such as Architecture and Scientists.

The US H-1B visa is valid for three years and can be extended for three more years upon renewal. The people who are applying for this visa must get an approval from Department of Labour and accepted petition from DHS.

People who are applying for US H-1B visa must be a graduate with at least a bachelor’s degree. The degree should be either from a US university or a recognized foreign university. The applicants must have both theoretical and practical knowledge of the required skills for the job they are applying for.
