The US H-1B visa is for experienced and skilled workers with a job offer in specialty skilled occupations. It is valid for up to six years. The processing time for the US H-1B visa varies based on the processing type the applicant opts for. They are as follows:
Regular processing can be converted into premium processing six weeks before the H-1B visa starting date. The applicant needs to fill out Form I-190 and pay an additional 1000 USD to change the processing type to premium processing.
