Canada PR is a permanent resident status granted to individuals to migrate and live in Canada for a period of five years. There are over 100 different pathways to choose when applying for a Canada PR.

What are the different types of PR pathways in Canada?

Individuals migrating to Canada can apply for a PR via any of the following PR pathways.

 

Express Entry

Express Entry is one of the most prominent pathways for Canadian immigration. The Express Entry program is an online application management system that assesses profiles of skilled workers who wish to migrate to Canada. The eligible candidates are assessed using a points-based system based on factors like skill set, work experience, employment status, and provincial nomination. Candidates interested to apply for the Quebec Immigration Programs must first submit an application of interest. An Invitation to apply (ITA) is issued to individuals that match the requirements of the province. The eligible candidates are evaluated on the basis of many factors that include:
