Foreign nationals who want to work and reside in Ireland must meet the language requirement to acquire a visa. The language requirement can be proved by an IELTS exam. The minimum IELTS band score should be 6.0 or higher to demonstrate English proficiency. The minimum IELTS score can range from band 4 to 6.5, depending on the applicant’s job profile.
