The B1/ B2 visa allows foreign nationals to stay in the country for six months. B1 visas are issued for short business trips, and B2 visas are issued for tourist trips.
The B1 visa doesn’t allow applicants to work in the US but can also be used for a variety of business-related activities such as negotiations, training, and meetings for which the individual will not be paid within the country.
On the other hand, a B2 visa is not only limited to individuals for tourism purposes but also for travel related to seeking medical help or other personal purposes.
