For Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning
The best strategy for the Verbal Reasoning as well as Quantitative Reasoning sections would be to begin by reading every question carefully. Then, answer each question, making sure that you do not linger on any question that you are not clear about. Simply mark and move on. Once you are done, you can go back and answer those questions that were marked by you earlier. Make sure that you answer all questions. As there is no negative marking, it is best to answer everything.
For Analytical Writing
Despite the time constraints, try to provide the best sample of your writing in the limited time provided for each of the tasks under the Analytical Writing section.
Probably the best strategy to adopt for getting a good score in GRE General Test is to try and understand the GRE General test inside out. Read up as much as you can. Take simulated Mock Tests so that you can gain insight into your level of preparedness before appearing for the actual GRE General Test.
