The EU card is a residence permit that allows highly qualified non-EU citizens to live and work in the EU state countries. There are around 27 countries in the European Union, with Ireland and Denmark choosing not to implement the EU Blue card. Individuals applying for an EU blue card can legally work in 25 EU member states. With an EU blue card, you can work in the EU country of your choice for 1-4 years, with the option of renewing it for the same time frame, provided the eligibility requirements are met. You can enter and re-enter the EU country that issued the card whenever required. The EU Blue card also allows individuals to travel and stay in other EU countries for a maximum of 90 days.
