Types of Sweden Student visa

There are two types of Sweden student visas through which a student can migrate and study in Sweden:

 

Student visa Type C (short-term): The Type C (short-term) visa is for students who can stay in Sweden for up to 90 days (3 months) and is suitable for shorter courses.

 

Residence Permit Type D (long-term): The Type D or residence permit is for students enrolled in full-time programs like Bachelor's and Master's in Sweden who would stay there for over three months. This visa is mainly issued to students who want to stay in Sweden for their studies.  

 

Eligibility Criteria to Study in Sweden

Students need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to study in Sweden:

 

  • Scored 60% in their previous academic
  • Submit the proof of English language via IELTS/TOEFL with at least 5.5 bands
  • Acceptance letter from Swedish university
  • Receipt of payment
  • Sufficient funds to support your studies in Sweden.
