The EB-1 visa is called the Employment-Based first preference visa which is issued for foreign nationals with exceptional abilities (science, arts, education, business or athletics) as well as for those with extraordinary abilities, an outstanding researchers or professors, or managers and executives of multinational organizations.

To be considered an applicant of extraordinary ability, they must prove their extraordinary achievement in fields such as science, arts, education, business, or athletics with national or international recognition.
The applicant must also provide correct documentation to demonstrate the accomplishment. This visa is reserved for individuals who have reached the highest achievement in their field and renowned in their respective fields. The essential factors that can demonstrate extraordinary abilities:
Applicants can meet the criteria by providing significant achievement awards for e.g. Oscar, Pulitzer Prize, and Olympic Medal or by fulfilling any three criteria. Below mentioned are the criteria that must be presented to prove the Extraordinary Ability for an EB-1 visa:
Applications can also file for an EB-1 visa if they are an Outstanding Professor, Researcher, Executive, or Manager. To qualify as an Outstanding Professor or Researcher, an international recognition in a specific academic field, at least three years of teaching or research experience, and an employment offer from a U.S. employer is required. The proof of evidence must support at least two criteria to apply for EB-1 visa:
