Yes, foreign nationals can bring their family to the US on a B2 visa. The B1 visa is used for short-term business purposes, so it doesn’t allow applicants to bring their family members.
Spouses and children under 21 who wish to accompany the visa holder may apply for a B2 visa. If they wish to visit for vacations only, they may apply for visitor (B-2) visa or, if qualified then can apply for travel visa-free under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
